  • Does the glue contain latex?

  • Is the glue toxic?

Another thing that dissolves lash glue are products based on natural oils. This is why it’s not recommended to remove your makeup using products based on oils because you risk unsticking your extensions.

Also, hot showers can play a major role in dissolving the lash glue. Avoid the contact with water for the first 24 hours after the extension application and use water that’s a little cooler to keep them as intact as possible.  

 

 

  • Can you create your own glue at home?

 

If you have this curiosity, the answer is "yes"! However, it’s not at all recommended to do this, because you have no idea what kind of reaction will the product have on your eyes.

The recipe should look something like this: a drop of honey, half a tablespoon of sugar, a drop of white non-toxic glue, two spoons of water. These ingredients can be mixed in this order in order to get a DIY glue, but nothing guarantees its success or safety in using it.
